moo
I just got these in the mail today - my new business cards. I am thrilled with how they came out. I thought I would give Moo a try. They are hooked up with flickr and can do many different kinds of print jobs with images from your flickr account. If you are thinking about your next batch of Business Cards, give these guys a try. Their prices are excellent and it took me less them 15 minutes to place this order. I ordered 50 cards using eight different images, which gives me a nice variety. The image is on one side and all the text is on the other side. They have a good variety of options and their turn around time was surprising - I placed my order on October 30th. I just came back from dropping some off at a gallery for gallery walk tonight and people were taking them already. A pretty inexpensive way to get your name out there. As usual, the photo below doesn't do them justice. The colors are much richer. So I'm now a Moo fan and will order some of their bigger cards next week. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

These cards look great Jeane. Thanks for the heads up. I saw your gallery wall at Nothwinds last week. It looks fabulous! I'm glad they expanded to include several "individual walls." We get to see a bigger variety of artist's work that way. Have a blast in New York!
I've heard many good reports about Moo cards and yours are fabulous. I love the work in progress 11/07/09. Note, I included the date because I might blink and a new one will be posted :-)
Oh yeah - they did a great job. Love seeing the lineup of your work on the sidebar, too. Somehow a grouping of paintings really makes that artistic statement we all seek.
Yours is making a testimonial!!
thanks for the tip-- guess I need to get some images on flickr first though, but do need some new business cards... never thought to put the image on one side and the text on the other.. what a goof I am.
Thanks for sharing! Your cards look great with your wonderful paintings!
Jeane, I'm on my second batch of 100 Moo cards. I also tried some of the regular sized business cards, too. The Moo cards are a hit. People love them, ask where I got them, almost want to collect them. I also highly recommend their service and their product.
Oooh, these are lovely! I've been thinking about getting some of these... you may have pushed me towards their site. Love your work in progress over to the right... yummy colors.
good morning Leslie - oh, I'm glad you liked the wall at NW's - I had signed up about three months ago to be put on a waiting list - I thought I would try it - it's a good way to preview new work and other stuff I'm working on - I made a decision to take my art funds and try some different things, i.e., no funds for supplies, but try I must :)
Hi Robyn - well I'm pleased with them - thanks, you made me laugh about the wip on the sidebar - it's actually the same painting that was there previous in its new incarnation :)
thank you Patrice - and I think I finally landed on the blog you use the most! sigh :)
LOL Donna - I don't think you have to have a flickr account - I believe you can upload images from your harddrive also, or your website - having a flickr account has been very useful and fun on so many levels - I strongly recommend it - you'll be surprised who you will find out there :)
Hi Sylvie, thank you - it was a good move :)
good morning Mary - I was tempted by the little moo cards, but went the traditional business - I also ordered a little mini image book from Qoop to see if that might be something I want to use - so many options out there :)
Hi Brenda - well, I'm really pleased with them and people were trying to grab them out of my hands :)
i'm in the process of creating my moo cards... i love them... and yours... xo
Hi Jeanne,
I have just had a catch up, have not been in blogland for a long time. You certainly do the most remarkable and exciting work. I love the way Jack's piece evolved and we are lucky to have outlets.
But your work has such energy and 'joi de vivre'you are a true inspiration.
Will be with you in Spirit when you meet up with Jo.....very soon!
Have a drink for me.
I love your cards...the information on the back is so smart...more focus on the work! Will be good in New York to pass around!! Speaking of New York...Have a wonderful trip and a special hello to Jo!
I too like this work in progress 11/07, love the blue/green!
Very stunning cards..bound to grab attention..NY, huh?...funny if we bump into each other..I'd know you anywhere!
Wow...they're wonderful!!!
And hey, I forgot the sugar in that cookie recipe. It's now been corrected, so pop over and get the right version before you make them. Sorry about that!! :P
Thanks, Jeane, for the recommendation of MOO...I've heard it before, but a reminder is important. Your cards look great!
good morning Lynne - fabulous! I hope you post them because I know your work will be perfect on little cards :)
Jeanette, so nice to see your here - I've missed you - thank you and I certainly will have a drink or two for you in NY :)
thanks Mary Ann - yes, they will be perfect for passing out - now that I've seen them I have to reorder and will make a much larger order :)
thanks Willow - love the new pic - you always choose such fun ones - oops! and I would have definitely blamed myself when they turned out not so 'world famous' :)
Hi Maggie - thanks - a shot in the dark that I am really happy with :)
love the choices you made... and i would pick them up too!
ok... moo moo milky moo to you... nurture onward!
just checked out your Flicker--really love the work.
Love them!
Jeanne, this is timely. I was just about to order new business cards. I didn't know what the hype was around moo cards. I didn't realize you could choose a variety of cards wheras doing that with a regular printer would make the cost sky high. Now that makes it big time, exciting news!!
MOO is wonderful...I've ordered from them a few times, and each time I get a new batch, I always want to go make even MORE because they look great! Little pieces of art unto their own....which can *almost* be a bad thing when they're placed out for the taking, since folks often want to take one of each image!
Hmn...now you have me thinking it would be fun to do a MOO card exchange...could be a fun way to get exposure to different artists!
As always, your cards are a delight to look at, and ever so inspiring!
good morning Lyn- thank you - somehow I jumped past your comment! old eye ya know :)
Hi mansuetude - well thank you very much and moo moo milky moo to you too :))))))
thanks Daryl xxo
hello Shayla - so glad! colors not perfect, but things like that don't bother me - give them a try :)
I agree Cynjon - uh oh, you may be on to something there :)
B&W thank you - they're fun :)
They look great - and how fantastic that you can get lots of different pictures in one batch! I'm sure they will be very effective in getting your work known.
I love your cards! I will check Moo out. Thanks for the inspiration. Oh and I just scored at the Humane Society thrift Store.. a 5' tall giraffe out of wicker! xo
Thank you for the recommendation. Your cards are way cool!
good morning Raph - thank you :)
yeow! Caroline! way to go! your work would look so good on these little cards :)
Hi Melinda - thanks :)
Your Moo cards are super cool Jeane - I love that you can have a variety of images instead of having to choose just one. I'll try to pop in and see your show too!
Your new business cards are beautiful! And I love all your thrift store finds... especially the watch, and seeing how your painting that you hated turned out so gorgeous... Roxanne
hello Alicia - do run by Stylus - many tiny little minis by artists from all over the world :)
Hi Roxanne - the watch is so fun - a great find - hope life is well in your world :)
Moooo Hoooo! (Sorry Jeane, couldn't resist!) Hope they do the trick. I'm late here but catching up.
Hey, Daryl sent me. OH LET ME SAY I"M A MOO CARD junkie. I can't stop. I've ordered the minis 3 or 4 times and the business cards twice. I'm a titch obsessive compulsive so I spent hours downloading about 50 photos for the 100 pack. It's worth it , people can't get enough of them. Maybe I should back off and get some more Kinko's plain ones to save some money.
