Here is my new favorite thing - 'osis+dust it'- no it's not a new art supply thingy - it's a hair stuff thingy and really good stuff! - I don't have alot of time for grooming everyday, well, I suppose I could make time, but I just want to get a minimal job done on most days and get to work - so, this is my new magic stuff for my hair - it's like talcum powder, kind of - you poof a little out of the jar on the roots of your hair and BAM! you have body! - how easy is that - my fabulous hair stylist, Hallie (no Lisa does not do my hair), was using it on my hair and I finally got my own little red bottle and haven't looked back - so if you are looking for something easy peasy that will give you some body, this may be your new favorite hair product!

....and since this is supposed to be an art blog, will put a detail pic of what's going on in the studio.......

....the weekend is on its way, have a great one everyone!

Two very weird experiences in viewing your blog - I transferred from Lynne Hoppe's because of her comment about your prompt on gluing down muslin - what has that to do with hairspray I thought when clicking on the link ... and then I had forgotten I had not looked at your blog for a while (sorry) and saw you were inviting bloggers to join you in Southampton - only a couple of hours from here. I had forgotten that S'hampton UK was NOT what I should have been envisaging!
Anyway, if you have the time, do please email me as to the date of your muslin post so I can check it out. I use muslin and cheesecloth in so much of my work and any advice or techniques are so welcome.
There's a lot of buzz on the street about these hair products..(Awesome painting by the way)...does it in any way leave a visible trace of powder in your hair? My hairdresser was just telling me about it. I'm nervous.
Hmm nice tip, i got to try it, i use wax but that makes my hair heavy.
The detail of the painting looks promissing. :-D
Very Good.
I love what's going on in the studio! And I am adding the dust it stuff to my list right now. Thanks! :)
Faerie dust for your hair, eh? And why not... It'll fall all sprinkly onto the art and make for magic in the studio.
I like how some of your pushed back colour is clinging to those fibres on the painting.
I love the way you make art such a priority Jeane. Your work is showing all the care and attention you provide.
I'm not familiar with that particular product, but it's an excellent line. Our salon was one of the first to introduce the line to the USA from Germany, several years ago.
My thoughts about the painting echo what Annie said. Love seeing the raw fibers.
Congrats on all the news in your previous post!
Would it work on long hair?
lost in the depths of what is happening in the studio; lovvvveee.
Wow. Cool. You read my mind--looking, dreaming of more body in my hair without spending lots of time. Thank you.
Your work is like reading a good poem. Really love this piece too.
AND you're left with a handy poofer thingy afterwards, for which I'm sure a creative mind like yours will find a use, Jeane!
glad I clicked. Those greens are impressive- translucent looking and the gold is brilliant instead of brassy. Beautiful!
Schwarzkopf ... is Yiddish for black head .. I am off to find this ASAP .. say hi to Lisa for me!
oh, my Ann, you had quite the adventure with just one click! actually the detail of the studio work is muslin collaged onto cardboard - glad to see you here :)
Hi Julie - well, I have the dreaded gray locks, so it doesn't show in my hair, but I've watched Hallie use it on dark hair and not a trace in sight - it's like anything else, it has to be worked in - thanks for coming by :)
Hi Moma Luna - good to see you! I've used a mud product for years and love it, but now I can use less and the Osis does the rest :)
Bebedores, thanks - I watched the video on your blog and laughed so hard :)
good morning Willow, thank you and you have to love something that goes poof!
a little magic right now would be wonderful Patrice - heavy going right now, but going I am :)
Hi Annie, thank you - the muslin offers so many little adventures xxo
hello Leslie, thank you - well, we all set priorities in our lives - ones society sets for us and ones we CHOOSE to set - I like choosing - much more satisfying :)

yes, Pamela, it does! it's worth a try for sure :)
oh, mansuetude thank you - wrapping my life up in muslin strips right now - it's an amazing journey right now xxo
Melinda! what an amazing thing to say - thank you so much - it's so funny because quite a few of the people who follow my work are disappointed in this detour away from straight painting, but I journey on anyway - have to follow the inside voice xxo
Hey Derrick! yes, I am! I'm sure something will present itself! :)
Hi Shayla, thank you - the only green I'm ever interested in is yellow and black mixed and the gold is actually yellow and burnt umber probably :)
Serious!? Daryl? well, what ever kind of colored head it is, I love it and actually last night was Lisa's birthday - we had a little blowout at a little local lounge in a haunted castle xxo
Thanks for the product name...right now I'm searching for a product that creates big shine!
This muslin piece is quite a heartbreaker...beautiful passages of subtle colors and texture...silky looking.
Being the hair maniac that I am, I must say that you've reached me..out the door..will be searching..thanks!!

Lyn, well of course! seek it and use it and give it a chance - it took me a few times to get the amount right, but as in all things, I just kept on until I got it right for me xxo
