Also, here is the finished painting from my last post. I seem to be on a roll with this color palette and will be starting some new projects after I get home - these will be long term projects a bit different then my usual work - will keep you posted as the summer goes along.

This piece really moves me, the balance, color, contrast, shape variation, delicate line movement, and composition are outstanding. There are many things to see as the eye moves around the monolith, adding and subtracting. Would love to see it up close and in person.
This new piece is a lovely eye feast. I would love to be sitting across the room from it right now. Hope you have happy adventures on your trip.
