Feeling better and am deep into some experiments in my workspace - one thing I have been doing is ripping the muslin off some of my work and then sewing it onto the shoulders of my sweaters - hard to get good pics, but the sidebar photo gives you an idea - finished this painting today -

'She Had a Secret' - mixed media on board 24x24
will be back with other things I'm up to later in the week - have a great weekend everybody!!

I'm so glad you're feeling better!
How cool to have fine art and wearable art be interchangeable! "She had a secret" is lovely.
Glad you are feeling better and the ideas are flowing. Using the muslin pieces as wearable art is genius...I like! Great new piece and with a title!
Where have I been that I didn't know you weren't feeling well? Best prayers and wishes to you always!!
The painting has mystery..very successful!
I love the painting and the sweater. How wonderful it must be to have such creative thought.
good morning Elizabeth, thank you - I'm messing around with deconstructing some of my old work in ways I haven't done before - it's fun :)

Oh Jeane, I love the painting, the title, and patch and the photo of you in the sweater. All so positive!
LOVE that sweater patch!
What a cool idea!
Also lovin' the assemblage in the sidebar.
No flies on the 'secret' painting either, which goes without saying, but I did anyway.
So glad you're on the mend,,,
Lots of scratchy texture and incredible color here. I like your idea for the sweaters. Cool!
Beautious ..
good morning Maggie and thanks! yes, positive, my fav attitude to wear :)
Hello Babs! the patches were fun and pushed me to do some assemblage work, which seems to be my mo for the Fall - I always seem to start deconstruction work! :)
thanks Shayla, color palette in transition and so am I, but I feel like I'm starting to settle down xxo
Daryl, xxxooo :))))))
The wire blue really sets this off.
I love the contrasts - metallic blue, chalky whites and that wonderful dark corner.
That shock of blue is spectacular!
