damn.......
damn! I have a cold! I hate colds - they are energy suckers and no one wants to hug you - sigh - I worked as slow as a slug today - I would make a choice and then it would be wrong (yes a choice can be wrong, very wrong) - so I just stopped making choices and painted - it was an underpainting day - that's all I could muster - these photos are up close and personal details of the underpainting - little art pieces on their own - lots of yellows since there wasn't an ounce of yellow outside - I just took some echinacea and vitamin C and am now ready to lay down and close my watery eyes for awhile - hope you are all feeling better then I am - sigh

these are all details of mixed media on board 24x24

Hi Jeanne! I feel for you, colds are horrible, aren't they? Your underpaintings look great- not like they were done by someone with a cold at all! I hope you feel better soon!
Hi Jeanne,
Oh boy... the watery eyes - not fun! Sending you good juju to feel better super fast.
ps... love the palette of these paintings. Such a positive light.
The detail photos are all little worlds.... artworks in their own right, as you say. Hope you are back in the studio, feeling as fit as a fiddle soon, jeane.
These details are absolute gems! Thanks for taking the time to share them with us even though you weren't feeling well. Hope everything dries up soon!
Yellow seems like a good colour to help speed a cold away and these look like great grounds to work on once you're ready. I'm about to eat a bowl of raspberries and blackberries picked yesterday. Wishing you great bowlfuls of fruit!
Feel better ..
LOVE the colors in these . .love the way they flow ...
good morning Sharmon, thank you - can only get better from here :)
Brenda! how nice! grabbed the good juju and hopefully it is working xxo
ah, me too Robyn - so much to do this month, at least what is left of this month - geez, where does it all fly to xxo
hello Nicki, I'm so glad you like the little bits - soon it will be one larger bit :)
oh, yum! Annie! fresh berries - mmmm, all that fabulous vitamin C - thanks for your good thoughts xxo
ah, Daryl xxo, thank you :)))
Yellow is perfect to bring on high energy...when you come back to this piece you will have the same energy. Naps and slowing down for awhile will be helpful. Good healing thoughts sent your way!
You are so very strong! To have worked while sick is completely dedicated. I'm wishing you renewed health and energy from here!
I love the work and wonder where you'll go with these in the future.
Ginger and lemon tea and a teaspoon of honey!! just like your underpaintings!! wishing you a speedy back to normal!
Lemon Martini. Kills Every kind (of) germ. Lemon is bright too. Tastes yellow. A kind of "almost yellow".
Feel better.
Yes, Jeane, letting down to a cold which is such a letting down in itself is discouraging, but this yellow is so full of life and color pow...Wow! Love detail#2...hope you are feeling better now.
Ah, so the cold has inspired your pallete choices for the day
snot green and bile yellow?
even illness has art in it..
Hope all that yellow cheered you up a little, Jeane, and that you're feeling better!
Hi Jeane, Hoping you're feeling better soon. These are so cool, I love the colors and the movement. Looking forward to seeing where these go.
Have a nice bowl of hot and sour soup. Chicken based and the red pepper flakes will help you sweat it out!
good morning Mary Ann and yes yellow is a very energizing color and naps! yes, naps - I'm a huge fan! xxo
thanks Melinda xxo, trust me, I'd rather work then lay in bed! so boring :)
wow Rosie, that sounds good just as a regular drink! yum :)
martini time! perfect mansuetude - that makes sense on any day :)
I am feeling better Maggie, thanks - just need my energy back :))
you nailed it as usual Denise :)
it was the lemon martini that mansuetude suggested that did a bit of cheering up I think Derrick :) thanks...
Hi Chris, the sour soup sounds like a very good choice :)
WEll, for someone who says they are under the weather,,,,these shots of this 24x24 are fantastic and bright and alive and gorgeous!!
According to the colors here,,,,you are much better than you realize.....haah-chuu.....

jeane! you've been ripping muslin off of your paintings and putting them on your sweaters?! woman after my own heart!!!!
xoxo
I share your disdain for colds...inconvenient little buggers! Right when you need to be alert and active, your head fills with something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.
I'm so sorry; please feel better.
Orange juice.
As for painting, at least you're in there slugging, kid.
me gusta tu lenguaje y este cuadro en especial, sublime y sensual
the last picture is great!
