experimenting........
......and yes, I've decided to embrace the new 'dynamic views' templates - I mean really!, for an image site like mine these are truly wonderful - I have lost my sidebar, but realized I can use the 'pages' option to post some of the other info I've used the sidebar for (still under construction so check back) and and I'm sure the new templates will add gadgets in the future, so I experiment - but what I really wanted to share is how much I'm loving my new 'wax' knowledge - AND I've added a new tool to my fav things to work with - a little torch! oh, man, do I love this - that little blue flame does stuff that just thrills me - Karon let me use hers last week and I fell in love! a whole new frontier - I'm experimenting for the next few months with wax, oil and flame on board and paper - so much fun! The first photo is the first experiment with bees wax and oil on board - I have so many ideas I want to try, so expect to see alot of experiments in the next few weeks.......
and this is a photo of my new little torch - if you've thought about getting one, and haven't done it yet, do it! today!

Jeane funny things are happening with your comments box - it will be google for sure - the words do disappear when you click publish!!
If this doubles up delete one - but your work with your new torch looks amazing - can't wait to see what else you do!!

Looks like a whole new site! Very different to navigate, but I'm sure we'll all get the hang of it after more people start using these kind of options. I think it's ideal for your work. It really gives me a sense of being in your gallery! And I think Inkhaven might like this new look as well!

Love this piece and the torch sounds like fun. I always love that slightly ethereal look of encaustics.
love the new look but find navigation a bit of a challenge. I'll figure it out eventually!
