too fun.......

That's what I'm having, too much fun - bees wax and fire(I've only burned myself once) - what an amazing combination - this is my second experiment on board and I've prepped a much larger board to start working on next week. Working like this seems limitless right now - so many possibilities - this is bees wax and oil on a 12x12 board........'Inside The Whisper'
Hope you have all had/are having a wonderful weekend. And remember, be sure you are logged into google before leaving a comment or it will disappear into the ether. Also I posted a wee video in 'bits and pieces' in my title bar using the torch and in fact this is the final product from that video.

This is really Drop Dead Gorgeous. Brings Anselm Kiefer to mind. Wouldn't you love to do this 5' x 5' --- OMG!

What great experimenting. I was truly fascinated by your video and your demonstration of process. Oh, my. I do love your new torch! Only twice that you burned yourself?! You're much better than I would be.

Thank you for sharing the video! As always, you have great posts and wonderful work.

p. s. That stability has 'look.' I hope you master the thing...For me, I'm back to my DVD of yoga on solid ground.

Sorry! I forgot the word 'ball' in my musing about the stability thing...It had me rattled. :-)

okay so now I will repeat what I wrote .. I was going to switch to this template but didnt want to give up my header .. well it looks great .. love it for you but it took me a while to figure out how to leave a comment and after I did and typed it out nice and neat and hit what I thought would post the comment I ended up here and had to do it all over again .. yup, I am sticking with my same old same old .. but it looks great .. commenting is a bit tough and as it is I get more hits than comments .. I am thinking its just me since all the others have no whining in their comments. xo

hello Mary Anne, yes, fun and on these cool days with the gray skies, fire and wax seems a good thing to be doing xo

hello Shayla, thank you, so glad you stopped by xo

Morna, you are in my head, YES, would love to do it 5'x5', thank you :)

good morning Melinda, thank you - it's a great new tool for me for sure - well, I'm back on the ground also - the stability ball is not for me - I'm back to my morning walks and weights and that wonderful stretching/yoga - sometimes you just want to change it up a bit, but sometimes sticking to the tried and true is better - the big blue ball will be deflated and given to someone more robust xo

Hi Susan, thank you so much, happy to see you here :)

it's not just you Daryl!, there are definitely bugs in this new template - people are having trouble leaving comments, which is very frustrating on both ends, but thanks for sticking this one out - hope you had a fabulous weekend away xo

I love your video and how you got those darks back. There's a material there - the plastic - that I'm not familiar with, but I guess you just get to melt what's left. I'm experimenting with various kinds of collage wreckage of my own at the moment but haven't dared take a flame to it. Yet!

I might be repeating myself here (already typed this once) but ...

... this one seems more about decay than your usual work. That's not a bad thing. And I like the new template -- it suits your stuff.

OK, so now I'm suddenly leaving another comment..well, it's good to be back, and to see your wonderful work...congrats! Wonder which comment will come up!

Right, trying again.

Looking for the video. I'm almost certain I'll find it some day.
Duh.
Love the work,,,,,

Wonderful! Maybe you will inspire me to finally try the wax! xoxo

good morning Annie, thank you, glad you enjoyed it - 'collage wreckage' - oh, how I love that idea - the plastic is 'mylar' which is a heavy clear plastic - the wax doesn't like anything that has plastic in it such as acrylic, etc. highly recommend the flame xo

good morning DJ, sorry for the buggy comment section, hope they get it fixed soon, but, hey, blogger is a free program, right? yes, decay, it's THE subject that has interested me since forever, that whole thing about decaying making way for rebirth and thank you about the new template - it's such a good one for an image site - they will get it debugged and everyone will get used to it and all will be well in the land of Artit, thanks so much for coming by :)

Hello Lyn, sorry for the 'comment' bump - make sure you are signed into google and it shouldn't be a problem next time, thank you for perservering! :)

Hi Babs, thank you - the video is on the pages bar which is the burgundy bar under my main header - it's under 'bits & pieces' - thanks for sticking it out here in strange comment land xo

Definitely try wax Annie, you may like and you may not, but always try!!! glad to see you here, thank you :)

So, did my comment disappear again? Confusing, but intriguing....this whole new way of making a visit with you, Jeane.
