black neoprene = opportunity....

When I bought my ipad a year ago, I also ordered the classic black neoprene cover to protect it. Yet another ugly electronic cover - sigh - I knew I would eventually cover the cover, but as all things, I never got around to it - then I had the unfortunate experience of leaving the ipad in a rental car when we were in Tuscon. Thank god I realized it was missing before I flew home - I trudged back to the car rental and asked if anyone had found it in the car. No, they hadn't.  The car I had used was still in the garage, so the lady said I could go look for myself, so I did - nope, not there - then I ran my had over the passenger seat, and BAM, there it was - totally invisible laying on the black seat - black cover on black seat - wake up call!! I have used the cover to doodle on for the past month while on the phone - the photo below shows how it looks today - I have to turn it over and start on the back - at least one white line so the 'invisible' ipad doesn't happen again.

I hope this finds everyone who will be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow prepping to enjoy family and friends. Until next week.

just another surface to create art on! where there is an empty surface an artist will create art! What a great idea!

have a wonderful thanksgiving and thank-you so much for your beautiful art!

I'm so very glad that you did not lose your iPad. Your work on it will keep it ever present and stylin' in the future.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

Looks like you had fun doing this. I'm wondering if you used to sit at a school desk like I did - hinged wooden lids layered with decades worth of doodles and graffiti....

Happy holiday!!

Do you know what the word I have to type in to comment is? REEDO. How is that for synchronicity?

I'd try this on my (many pairs of) black pants, but am afraid that if I sat down for any length of time I wouldn't be able to get up again. Doesn't that thick paint act like velcro?

Better stop, Jeane--the whole idea of an iPad is to have a computer that doesn't weigh very much.
