4 poems

Happy Saturday to all. I finished the four poems. It was an extreme challenge working this small and keeping only one thought on the surface. Editing this small is such a good exercise for me.

And am I the only one struggling with apparent changes in how blogger displays images now? Anyway, I hope I've found out how to ride their new train.

I love these small works. I believe large is highly over rated.

The surface is just yummy in all of these pieces.

ah, jeane... one thought on the surface is powerful...

can you select your image and then click on the thingie at the top that lets you decide whether you want something left, center, or right? that's what i do...

hello Roberta, thank you! small is definitely a challenge for me!! :))

Hi Carole, many thanks - it makes a cohesive group and have thought about bolting them together, we'll see xoxo

thank you Jo! many, many layers! whew! xox

hey Lynnie, thank you :)) and yes, that is what I FINALLY figured out - I'm use to doing my posts in html but it doesn't work the same anymore and actually I find this new way also good!! xox

that's the difficult exercise for me Sue, subtley!! ha! :))

Looking good. Love the sense of forms moving forwards and backwards. Interesting that small pieces look so big on my screen! Can't help you with html, but I move my images around like Lynnie. Ax

I just love your work, truly inspiring. I just want to eat all that texture right up. Beautiful.

Hi Jeane, The transparency of these 4 poems is incredible! So many images appear for me exactly as if I was reading poetry. Wish I could "really" see them.

much easier to do a post in the compose window .. by the way, this option has always been there ..

good morning Annie, thank you - editing down to the simplest forms was a huge exercise for me - these small panels gave me a very good workout!! xo and yes, I finally figured out how to use the compose window - I had to actually read what was on the screen - what a concept, following easy directions! ha!

thank you Kathryn, photos don't show the texture very well, but as they dry, they become more defined - so happy you came by :))

I have actually played with them on the floor by mixing them and putting them together in different configurations Mary Ann - a different feel for each new pairing, thanks xoo

Hi Seth, thank you, a very kind thing to say! xoxo

wish you could really see them too Sylvia - hard to get texture in a photo - thank you, so happy you came by :))

Hey Daryl, yes, it's just that I got so used to doing it in the html window, you know how hard it is to change after years of doing something one way, but you are right, the compose window gives some very nice options I've missed, sigh xoxo

Hi Jeane! These are lovely poems. So very powerful. I need to get some painting time in, feeling very restless!!

good morning Chris, thank you - oh, yes, the restlessness does creep up when we neglect our brushes and paint - a little bit goes a long way, no? good to see you here xo
